When preparing for college, my mom always reassured my fears, worries, and anxieties with one simple phrase "you will find your people." After looking back and reminiscing on my first year at K-State, my memories of Saturdays cheering on that Cats, midnight fire drills, lunch dates with my girls, carpools, date parties, late-night study sessions, endless chats, and lifelong memories made me realize my mom was right I found my people.

       My people are kind, selfless, smart, unique, talented, leaders, true, beautiful, lasting, honest, giving, funny, generous, thoughtful, empathetic, loyal, sincere, and lifelong; my people are the woman of Alpha Delta Pi.

 

       PNM's, as you enter recruitment, my top three suggestions are first, keep an open mind, second, trust the process, and third, find your people. I have 100% total and complete confidence that this is the beginning of the best four years of your life.
